Command
RE[BOOT] -- Reboot machine (Obsolete).
Synopsis
REBOOT
Availability
This command was implemented on DOS XRouter, but is not
available in XRPi!!!
Description (obsolete)
Reboots the machine immediately and ungracefully.
It is typically used by remote sysops to restart the machine
after editing autoexec.bat/config.sys, installing a new
version of the software, or to recover from potentially
dangerous situations such as a corrupt hard drive.
Console sysops can use the "Vulcan Nerve Pinch" (Ctrl-alt-del)
or interrupt the power instead.
Note (obsolete)
Remote sysops should only use this command if the router
program has been started from AUTOEXEC.BAT, otherwise it won't
restart.
It is recommended that you include an automatic disk check and
repair utility within AUTOEXEC.BAT to remove any problems
which resulted in the REBOOT command being used.
