IGATE.CFG

Name

IGATE.CFG -- APRS IGATE Configuration File.

Description

IGATE.CFG is the configuration file for the APRS IGATE (Internet Gateway) daemon, therefore you do not need it if you are not using IGATE. It is a plain text file read each time the daemon is started.

Format

IGATE.CFG is a plain text file. Each configuration keyword is specified on a separate line. Blank lines, or lines beginning with ';' or '#' are ignored. The maximum line length is 80 characters.

Within each directive, fields must be separated by one or more spaces or tabs.

The following keywords are accepted:

IFILTER <from> <to> <text> Internet->Packet filter rules
LOG <0-255> Activity logging level
MAXTRIES <n> Max. server connect attempts.
PAUSE <seconds> Interval between retries.
PFILTER <from> <to> <text> Packet->Internet filter rules
SERVER <ipaddr:port> Internet server to use

These are fully documented in the section relating to IGATE.
