ECHO
Command
ECHO -- Start an Echo session.
Synopsis
E[cho]
Description
The ECHO command starts a "echo" session, whereby anything received by XRPi is echoed back to the sender. This is useful for testing TNC's, link throughputs etc.
An ECHO session can only be ended by disconnection.
Note
The ECHO server may also be used by telnetting to TCP port 7 (This port may be altered or disabled using the ECHOPORT=n directive in XROUTER.CFG).
Availability
All users.
